There is a golden rule here:

Better to follow your passion than purely address a money-making opportunity.

The reason is pragmatic: You need passion for the long haul, and business success requires the long haul.

This is especially important for the first few years where you will very likely feel - or be - very broke.

So here is exactly how to come up with your business idea:

1. Follow your passion

2. Be open to opportunities as you are following your passion

3. If you see a need present itself (customer need, not your need)

4. Morph your passion to fit that need.
